Stephanie Behring, Registered Architect, Design Partner
Stephanie’s professional experience encompases construction, interiors, and architecture in many project types, such as residential, multi-family, student housing, senior living, hospitality, office, and retail. She is a licensed architect in the State of Texas.
She enjoys giving generously of her time with design organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity and Engineering Missions International. With EMI, Stephanie had the pleasure of traveling to Beirut, Lebanon as the Lead Architect for a children's camp and teacher training center. Since 2018, she has served on the board of Dallas City Homes, a local affordable housing non-profit organization.
Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Oregon. Some of Stephanie’s favorite things are tending to her garden, cooking, and travel - especially exploring cities by foot and adventuring through our National Parks.

Ryan Behring, Managing Partner
Ryan’s experience in the building industry has covered architecture, design-build, commercial real estate brokerage, community development, and fabrication.
From 2015-2017 Ryan served with, and led Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings’ GrowSouth Americorps VISTA program, building capacity in Southern Dallas neighborhoods. From there, Ryan applied his love of Oak Cliff to commercial real estate brokerage, and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Texas. Ryan currently serves on the City of Dallas’ Zoning Ordinance Advisory Committee (ZOAC) shaping development code recommendations to the City Plan Commission.
Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, a Master of Architecture and Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University. Ryan enjoys the shade of 100-year old Pecan trees, connecting people, and staying active mostly with his two young sons.

Kirk Nelson, Registered Architect, Senior Project Architect
Kirk’s professional design experience spans residential multifamily projects and public academic projects, working on projects of various scales from a single classroom remodel to a 400 unit apartment project.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, he has lived and worked in Seattle, Orange County California, San Francisco and now North Texas.
Kirk has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon and has an architecture license from the state of Washington. Outside of work, Kirk enjoys hiking, tennis, and spending time with his family which typically involves chasing after his two young sons.
Myriah Esparza, Registered Architect, Project Architect
Myriah’s Architectural experience includes residential, multi-family, commercial office, retail, and education project types. She is a licensed Architect in the State of Texas.
She discovered Architecture through the lens of a camera at a young age and since has been passionate about buildings. Myriah looks forward to continuing to grow in her career, finding inspiration in her community, and learning how Architecture and design can become accessible to everyone. In her free time, she enjoys a variety of hobbies- photography, designing and building furniture, textile arts, and reading. Her favorite day can be described as spending quality time at home relaxing with her husband and dog.
Myriah earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma State University. Upon her graduation she was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi Bronze Medal for her display of leadership, willing service to her school, and promise of real professional merit through her attitude and personality.
Ethan Etchieson, Project Designer
Ethan has been with the team since 2021, after an internship while finishing his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University. While at Tech, Ethan spent a semester studying abroad in Seville, Spain, and enjoyed seeing many historical sites across the country.
He enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends. Ethan graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Architecture from Texas Tech University, and a Masters in Architecture at the University of Texas in Arlington.
Kathryn Van Dinh, Project Designer
Originally planning for a different career, Kathryn majored in Mathematics and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Austin College. Not convinced of her career path, she sought opportunities that allowed for creative thinking and problem solving, thus leading her to explore the field of Architecture. She gained an Associate, specializing in CAD and Architecture, from Austin Community College. Wanting to learn more about design and the industry, she continued her education at the University of Texas at Arlington. in 2023, she earned her Masters of Architecture from UTA.
Kathryn has worked on a few residential, commercial, and historic projects while at a small firm in Fort Worth. She is eager to continue learning and to gain more experience within the real world. Outside school and work, Kathryn greatly enjoys reading, building things, and cooking with her husband.
