Southern Virginia University

While with Parkway Construction & Architecture, one of Ryan’s most significant projects was a 300-acre masterplan for Southern Virginia University.

Founded in 1867, SVU is a small private university with historic neo-colonial architecture, set against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Design services included a masterplan for their campus and future expansion, along with conceptual building designs for a dormitory, performing arts building, academic building, and football stadium.
